A delightful little coffee shop, one I'd imagine is the set for the meet-cute in a Hallmark movie. The cute girl, with an oddly rough exterior, who never left her hometown runs a coffee shop. Enter a world wide country music star, as he is passing through between stops on his tour. With a skin tight black shirt and a frayed baseball cap he says "One Lovely Lavender Latte please...ooo I like the alliteration on that" They share a burst of laughter and a short conversation, and she asks him what brings him to Jonesborough. He awkwardly stumbles so as to not give away his fame, as he has been DYING to meet a girl who loves him for him and not his occupation. "Just uh... passing through... headin to Nashville." She, of course, doesn't recognize him, but her whole staff is starring. After she hands him the Latte, their eyes meet for about a half second too long. You guys know the kind of sexual tension I'm talking about. All it takes is 0.5 seconds. They both snap out of it, but in turning around too quickly, he trips over a table and hits his head on a chair. She rushes to get a pack of ice and puts it on the bruising forehead... But yeah my cold brew was great and my big bro gave his latte a 8/10! Big bro rarely gives anything over a 7.75! A great place to come for a quick coffee and potentially have a meet-cute (eye emoji).
I absolutely enjoyed this place. While I didn't get a chance to enjoy my drink outside, ordering my drink inside was a treat. Being inside I was treated to llamas on the side and all the awesome accessories being sold. The Barista behind the counter was friendly and helpful in my tea selection. My girlfriend got an iced coffee and she enjoyed it as well! I would definitely check it out if you're in the area .
This was a superb find. The barista was super friendly and made excelente drinks. I ordered the dolce de leche latte and the ginger bread. I also tried the chocolate croissant and the matcha bread. Amazing choices!!! The interior is cute and inviting. I sat outside and enjoyed the view. Highly recommended.
Nice small and quite spot, got myself a lavender latte and was perfect for the cold weather. Tasty really good and service was quick. More personal type of place which I like.
While visiting NY City I haven’t eaten any better croissant, staffed bagel somewhereelse and had delicious coffee. I normally drink Amerikano, espresso and cortado and they could not be any better. Thank you for making my day, everyday
Cozy space and very cute rustic place. Service is phenomenal too. We took 2 cappuccinos and loved the flavors and presentation. The croissant and Nutella banana bread are a must try! Love supporting small businesses like The Lazy Llama Coffee Bar. Will definitely come back
